The San Jacinto Chapter selects an outstanding Texas History teacher each year to receive the Marian Beckham cash award and to be entered into the DRT contest.
DRT honors a 4th and 7th grade Texas History Teacher each year at our annual Convention.

DRT has a contest each year with awards for outstanding essays by 4th and 7th graders. To be entered into the DRT contest, entries should be sent to the San Jacinto Chapter DRT which awards cash prizes!

San Jacinto Chapter DRT College Scholarships
The San Jacinto Chapter awards college scholarships each spring for entering freshmen. The deadline has ended for 2024. Please check back late 2024 or early 2025 for information regarding scholarships for 2025.
